I'm delighted to be the guest speaker and curator for a special evening on September 25 of music and fashion, hosted by After Arts. After Arts is an organization founded by pianist turned financial advisor, Nicholas King, who had the vision to bring together professionals who are deeply moved by their passion for music. "Born from the belief that an artistic background enriches any professional path, we've created a platform where music and professionalism intersect and support personal, professional, and artistic growth through networking, performance, and cultural experiences." - After Arts

This will be an intimate evening melding conversation around fashion design, classical music, and collaborative design, with short performances by a few incredibly talented musicians that I've invited. You will enjoy performances by Audrey Wright and Cong Wu, two New York Philharmonic musicians, who will be performing in designs from our ready-to-wear collection. Claire Chase, the first flutist to be awarded a MacArthur fellowship, will perform excerpts from Marcos Balter's Pan dressed in a custom design inspired by this woodland satyr. And finally, my good friends and creative collaborators violinist Audrey Wright and artist Geoff Robertson will bring you a piece from their project 'Luminous Being' that weaves light, sound, and technology. The salon takes place on the 87th floor of 35 Hudson Yards, offering stunning views. Cocktail attire recommended.
