About The Nouveau Classical Project
The Nouveau Classical Project (NCP) is a New York-based, concept-driven contemporary classical music ensemble that is "bringing a refreshing edge to the widely conservative genre" (VICE). It began by collaborating with fashion designers for its concerts and has expanded to creating multidisciplinary performances. Its mission is to engage new audiences and show that classical music is a living, breathing art form.
About Flying Solo
Launched in June 2016, Flying Solo is a unique concept store and retail incubator owned and operated by a curated selection of 30 independent designers. The store was created to allow designers to take their brand stories and products directly to the consumers.
Flying Solo wishes to transform fashion culture by offering: a revolutionary retail experience where you meet the creators behind the creations every time you shop, a comprehensive and equal platform for designers, and a commitment to our customers through exceptional quality and personalised service. Most of our products are designed and made in New York City and 90% of our brands are women-owned.
Flying Solo debuted it’s first collective show during NYFW this February and has been recognized by international press including WWD, WGSN, New York Mag, Nylon, Vogue and Marie Claire Brazil.
